The dharma cannot be sold or have a price put on it. There is a suggested “door fee” for the teachings based on a sliding scale, please make offerings in accordance with your own ability. If you can afford to give more, your generosity will help make up for those who cannot. No one will be turned away from teachings for lack of money.

In the Buddhist tradition lamas and monks are supported by lay people. To further show your appreciation for receiving the teachings, it is customary to give an additional gift offering (dana) of whatever you can afford to both the teacher and the translator at the end of a teaching event. Offerings are generally placed in separate envelops and should be marked clearly to avoid confusion.

Your offerings may be left in the baskets at the door or presented directly to Rinpoche and the translator immediately following the end of the teachings.
